Members
The AFNIC includes public and private players concerned by the development and use of Internet.
It is composed of distinct colleges:
- founder members: INRIA and the State represented by the ministry in charge of telecommunications, the ministry in charge of industry and the ministry in charge of research,
- domain name registrars (ISPs),
- users members included legal entities (companies, plants, organizations)
and individuals,
- correspondent members - International College:
international organizations,
- honorary members: this title of honorary member can be awarded by the board of directors to persons who provide or have provided the identified services to the association.
