Philosophy

Our philosophy as a registry

AFNIC has always considered the DNS as a collective resource.

From 1995, AFNIC set up some registration rules to give to everyone an opportunity to have its own .fr or .re domain name and to prevent from the domain name conflicts. These rules are gathered in Naming Charters.
