Who manages the ccTLDs of the French overseas departments and territories?
In addition to .fr delegated to AFNIC (formerly NIC-France) since 1986,
here is the situation of the ccTLDs attached (or that should be) to French territories:

(French Southern Territories) |

following the resolution adopted by ICANN on May, 25 2004
- Nov., 02 2004:
Transfer of the domain names and of the Whois database is on the way. Domain names registered under .tf will not be modified until December 31, 2004 and no new registration is possible. The new registration rules will be defined with the local representatives.
- Jan., 07 2005:
By decision of the French public powers, the new registration rules will be defined by the CNRS (National Centre for Sciences Research); AFNIC is the .tf registry.
The ccTLD remains frozen until February, 28th 2005.
- March, 01 2005:
The operating structure for .tf have been successfully designed and will become operational within next weeks.
The ccTLD remains frozen.
- March, 18 2005:
The naming charter of .tf is being drafted as well as
contract with registrars.
