Price

Price of a .fr or .re domain name

AFNIC does not directly sell domain names to customers.

The selling of .fr and .re domain names is made by registrars who are under contract with AFNIC. Registrars apply the price they want.

Why do prices vary from a registrar to another?

Price depend on the type of service offered by each registrar.
For further information on services, please see: "Other services" in Why a registrar?.

It is up to you to select the registrar whose offer meets your needs.

A comparative of price?

AFNIC does not supply a comparative of prices.

It should be pointed that prices start at around 10 Euros / year.

Think of renewing your domain name

Registration of a domain name is made for one year.
A domain name must be renewed each year; you will be charged by you registrar for this renewal.
