AFNIC sponsors the 83rd IETF Meeting in Paris 25 – 30 March 2012

January 23, 2012

AFNIC is sponsoring the 83rd Meeting of the IETF - the Internet Engineering Task Force - which is being held at the Paris Palais des Congrès.

The IETF consists of a dozen research and development groups working on Internet technologies and protocols for today and tomorrow. Each working group of volunteers is tasked with studying a particular subject. The IETF contributes to the development and evolution of the Internet and the associated technologies by defining and publishing standards (Request for Comments, or RFCs). As a key player in the French Internet, AFNIC is a regular contributor to the work of the IETF and reasserts its support for the community by sponsoring its 83rd Meeting.
