10/12/2026

Developed by Breizh Cyber with the support of Afnic and the www.bzh association, DashMARC centralises and analyses DMARC reports and produces dashboards to facilitate configuration error detection and fraudulent use of domain names. DashMARC is an open-source solution that prioritises sovereignty and digital trust.

A comprehensive solution for retrieving, enriching, storing, and visualizing DMARC reports

DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Compliance) helps combat domain spoofing via emails thanks to SPF (Sender Policy Framework) and DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) authentication protocols. It provides organisations with reports on outgoing emails from their domains, so as to detect configuration errors and possible fraudulent uses.

But interpreting these reports is not necessarily straightforward. The technical format and the sheer number of reports can make them hard to analyse. Which is where DashMARC comes in: the tool automatically retrieves DMARC reports from email inboxes, analyses them and sets out the results in easy-to-read dashboards. Thus giving your teams an overview of all outgoing email authentication from their domain names. Which means they can easily detect anomalies and seek assistance from sector professionals to correct them.

An open-source solution

Published as an open-source solution, DashMARC gives organisations the possibility to examine how the tool works and adapt it to their needs. They can host the tool on their own infrastructure and use it to analyse their DMARC reports without the need for third-party intervention.

The code, meanwhile, is available on Codeberg, a European community-driven open-source software development hosting platform run by a non-profit organisation, which offers an alternative to major commercial platforms.

And in addition to this autonomy is the expertise of the actors behind the project. Developed by Breizh Cyber with the support of Afnic and the www.bzh association, DashMARC combines the expertise of a regional cybersecurity incident-response centre with that of two non-profits managing domain names and providing holder support.

DashMARC will be presented at the NDDCamp Rennes event on 20 November 2026 at the Carré des Alliés business and conference centre. Breizh Cyber, Afnic and the www.bzh association will be meeting with other sector experts at the event to talk about email authentication, domain name protection and how to combat domain spoofing.

About Afnic

Afnic is the acronym for Association Française pour le Nommage Internet en Coopération, the French Network Information Centre. The registry has been appointed by the French government to manage domain names under the .fr Top Level Domain. Afnic also manages the  .gf (French Guiana), .gp (Guadeloupe), .mq (Martinique), .pm (Saint-Pierre and Miquelon), .re (Reunion Island), .tf (French Southern Territories), .wf (Wallis and Futuna) and .yt (Mayotte) French Overseas TLDs.

In addition to managing French TLDs, Afnic’s role is part of a wider public interest mission, which is to contribute on a daily basis, thanks to the efforts of its teams and its members, to a secure and stable internet, open to innovation and in which the French internet community plays a leading role. As part of that mission, Afnic, a non-profit organization, has committed to devoting 11% of its Revenues from managing .fr Top Level Domain to actions of general interest, in particular by transferring €1.3 million each year to the Afnic Foundation for Digital Solidarity.
Afnic is also the back-end registry for the companies as well as local and regional authorities that have chosen to have their own TLD, such as .paris, .bzh, .alsace, .corsica, .mma, .ovh, .leclerc and .sncf.

Established in 1997 and based in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Afnic currently has nearly 100 employees.
