Entitled “The new digital territories”, the conference will introduce the .bzh namespace & the issues involved in using new gTLDs. This conference is organized by the Quimper Cornouaille Chamber of Commerce, the .bzh association and Afnic, the registry for domain names under the .fr TLD and technical partner for the .bzh namespace.The purpose of the conference is to allow participants to:

  • Better understand the issues involved with the new gTLDs,
  • Understand how to protect a brand name and prevent cybersquatting,
  • Seize the new opportunities for communication created by the introduction of the new gTLDs.

About Afnic

Afnic is the acronym for Association Française pour le Nommage Internet en Coopération, the French Network Information Centre. The registry has been appointed by the French government to manage domain names under the .fr Top Level Domain.
