Request to access your information in the Whois database

This form allows you to ask Afnic to provide you with information about you in the Whois database

In order to combat personal identity theft when registering domain names, via this form, you can ask Afnic for the domain name (s) that have been registered using your identity.

Warning: this form does not allow you to:

  • request a domain name certificate of ownership. To do so, please send your request to juridique@afnic.fr.
  • challenge a domain name registered under a name that is the same or similar to your family name and your first name. To do so, please consult the procedure and the documentation relating to alternative dispute resolution procedures;
  • challenge domain names registered without your knowledge using the contact details of your company, as a legal entity, without your personal data being used in the registration.  To do so, please consult the procedure and the documentation relating to alternative dispute resolution procedures;
  • request access to your personal information processed by Afnic. To do so, please send an email to Afnic's DPO at juridique@afnic.fr specifying the purpose of your request and enclosing an identity document.
