For the fourth year running, Afnic will hold its Scientific Council Open Day on Friday 16 May 2014, from 9:30 to 18:00, in the premises of the Institut Mines-Telecom.
The event is free and open to the Internet community, and provides an opportunity to discuss the major issues addressed by the Scientific Council of Afnic.
Pending the publication of the detailed program for the day that will be, once again, structured in two parts (with a tutorial in the morning and a seminar of the Scientific Council of Afnic in the afternoon), registrations for this year’s event are now open – and required – at the link below:

About Afnic
Afnic is the acronym for Association Française pour le Nommage Internet en Coopération, the French Network Information Centre. The registry has been appointed by the French government to manage domain names under the .fr Top Level Domain. Afnic also manages the .re (Reunion Island), .pm (Saint-Pierre and Miquelon), .tf (French Southern and Antarctic Territories), .wf (Wallis and Futuna) and .yt (Mayotte) French Overseas TLDs.

Established in 1997 and based in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Afnic currently has nearly 90 employees.
