For the fifth year running, Afnic is organizing its Scientific Council Open Day on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 9:30 to 18:30. This year, it is taking place once again in the premises of the Mines-Télécom Institute in Paris.
Open to the Internet community at large, the event this year is focusing on scientific and technical measurements via the Internet

As every year, the day is divided into two parts (a tutorial in the morning and a seminar of the Afnic Scientific Council in the afternoon):

About Afnic
Afnic is the acronym for Association Française pour le Nommage Internet en Coopération, the French Network Information Centre. The registry has been appointed by the French government to manage domain names under the .fr Top Level Domain. Afnic also manages the .re (Reunion Island), .pm (Saint-Pierre and Miquelon), .tf (French Southern and Antarctic Territories), .wf (Wallis and Futuna) and .yt (Mayotte) French Overseas TLDs.

Established in 1997 and based in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Afnic currently has nearly 90 employees.
